    PharmaSTEM: Science and Drug Development

    Date: June 24, 2026

    10:00-4:00pm

    Explore the science behind medications and drug development. This camp is perfect for STEM-motivated students interested in dynamic careers in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Development, Pharmacology and Toxicology. Participate in interactive labs, meet faculty and students, and learn about careers in pharmaceutical industry, forensic science and related areas.

    What is the difference between the camps?
    • PhillyPharmacy Future Academy focuses on the profession of pharmacy and is ideal for students interested in the PharmD pathway and careers as practicing pharmacists in community, hospital, clinical or industry settings.
    • PharmaSTEM: Science and Drug Development focuses on the science behind medications and is ideal for students interested in majors such as Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Development or Pharmacology and Toxicology, and careers in research, drug development, forensics or related biomedical fields.
    Can I sign up for both camps?
    • Absolutely! This is a great way to explore the multiple options available within the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at Saint Joseph's University.
    If I want to register for both camps, do I pay two fees? What is included in the day?
    • Yes, one camp is $35, two camps cost $70
    • The fee pays for snacks and lunch, all activities, a t-shirt and assorted SJU swag.
    Do you provide lunch?
    • Yes! Lunch (pizza and salad) is provided
    • Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate special dietary restrictions but participants are welcome to pack a lunch.
    Where should students be dropped off? 
    • The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy is located at St. Joe's UCity location

      We encourage parents/guardians to drop off their students and explore Philadelphia for the day. On-campus parking is provided for students driving themselves.
    • Detailed information will be provided to registered/paid students approximately one week prior to camp. Note that PhillyPharmacy begins at 9am and PharmaSTEM begins at 10am. Both campus end at 4pm.
