    Last Updated: January 20, 2021

We’re excited to welcome you to Hawk Hill—in person—to see for yourself what life is like on campus. To ensure the health and safety of the Saint Joseph’s University community and our visitors, we have put in place the following measures based on public health directives from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and CDC.

    AT-A-GLANCE

    • Campus tours are available on a recurring basis throughout the spring 2021 semester. Residence halls will not be shown on tour.
    • Face coverings are required to be worn at all times while on campus.
    • Families are limited to three (3) people: the prospective student and two (2) family members.
    • Tours will be limited to one (1) family per tour guide.

    Before Your Visit

We require all visitors to register in advance of arriving on campus. To register for a campus tour, go to sju.edu/visit. To control the density of our Welcome Center, we are limiting all families to three (3) members: the prospective student, and two (2) guests. We may not be able to accommodate walk-in visitors due to space and social distancing guidelines.

    Check for COVID-19 Symptoms

We ask you to perform a COVID-19 symptom assessment before arriving on campus. Please refrain from visiting campus if you do not feel well or if you have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19.

    Face Coverings and Hygiene

You and your guests are required to bring a face covering to wear when visiting campus. Face coverings should cover both your nose and mouth, including masks without an exhalation valve and face shields. Face coverings should be worn at all times, especially when physical distancing of six (6) feet or greater is not possible.

Our public restrooms will be available for use. We strongly encourage abiding by public health guidelines, including washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or using hand sanitizer.

Bottled water will be available when you check in. If you’re a coffee or tea drinker, plan on bringing your own to campus. And while we eagerly anticipate meeting you in person, our admission staff will not be shaking hands out of an abundance of caution—please don’t be offended.

On the Day of Your Visit

On the day of your scheduled campus tour, please check-in at the Maguire Wolfington Welcome Center no more than 10 minutes prior to your visit time. Additional information on arriving to campus will be included in your confirmation and reminder emails.

Tour groups will be limited to one (1) family per tour guide. For the safety of our campus community, residence halls will not be shown on tour and we are limiting the number of interior buildings that tour groups will enter.

We are unable to provide in-person admission presentations and interviews. If you are on campus and would like to speak with a counselor, meetings will be conducted outside or in a large conference room, depending on availability. For high school seniors with specific questions, we strongly encourage registering for a virtual interview at sju.edu/visit.

While Saint Joseph’s University is taking all precautions to safeguard our community, we cannot eliminate the risk of COVID-19 exposure and infection on campus. Please be reminded that you are undertaking your visit at your own risk. If any visitor shows symptoms and tests positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of visiting campus, please report that information to the Office of Public Safety at 610-660-1111.
